Brahampur
Brahmapur city is connected with National Highways NH-16 (Chennai–Kolkata), NH-59 (Gopalpur–Naupada), and other cities and towns of Odisha.Three-wheeler auto taxis are the most important mode of transportation in this city. Taxis also ply on the city's roads. The state government has constructed a new bus station at Haladiapadar, on the outskirts of the city. The Ganjam Urban Transport Services Limited (GUTSL) with a joint partnership with Odisha State Road Transport Corporation (OSRTC) has an agreement to run a city-bus service for Berhampur to urban centers on its periphery.

1 - Jiranga monastery
Jiranga Monastery is also known as'" Mini Tibet". As per the history when Tibetans refugee came across to India for resettlement, so out of 12 camps that are established for resettlement of Tibetian Chandragiri (jiranga) is one of them. Tibetian refugee makes this place more beautiful and attractive and makes famous for Tibetian handicraft
The Avalokiteswarastatue in a sitting position in mahedragad is another attraction of jiranga.
How to reach - JIranga which is 110 km from Berhampur railway station and 270 km from Bhubaneswar. if anyone wants to visit they can reach the first Berhampur railway station from there travel to the city bus station and from there, busses are easily available for jiranga. busses take 3 hours to reach jiranga from Berhampur bus stand. if you landed in Bhubaneswar via flight or train then you need to reach first Berhampur through direct train or bus. and from Berhampur, you take a bus or rented car.
Nearest place to visit - Khasada waterfall
Khasada waterfall which is 5 km from jiranga Monastery. if you want to see the beauty of nature then you should go there. the place is blessed with a natural waterfall and the best thing is you can bath under the waterfall. if you are there with your family there is a lot of space for cooking. This waterfall is one of the best places for a picnic. The waterfall is not so deep so you can easily bath and play there. one major problem is there is not a single hotel to stay in. so if you plan to visit you have to come back before 6 o clock. you get hotels near the jiranga
